Overview
The Defence Capability Plan Scheduling System (DCPSS) was an organisational initiative to introduce a comprehensive project scheduling/programming framework within the Department of Defence’s Capability Develop Group (CDG). This group was responsible for developing all capability projects through to the point of acquisition (at which point they passed to another agency). The DCPSS was aimed at improving the planning, monitoring and control of these projects.

Overview
The aim of Stage One was to address the significant condition, capacity and compliance issues with two existing wharves at Garden Island (East), Sydney, New South Wales. These wharves are referred to as the Cruiser Wharf and the Oil Wharf. The aim was to demolish the Cruiser and Oil wharves and build a new wharf in a revised alignment in their place and also extend an adjoining wharf to limit the new realigned wharf’s protrusion.

HMAS Albatross Redevelopment

Overview
HMAS Albatross is the home of the Fleet Air Arm and soon to be the home of the combined ADF Helicopter Training School. The base is about to undergo significant redevelopment to both infrastructure and facilities. blueVisions’ expert programming team were engaged to provide an independent review, analysis of the contractor’s complex delivery program to ensure that it was correct, accurate and minimised delays. We were also in charge of undertaking design review and site attendance for its inspections.

Overview
The purchase and construction of the Hobart Class AWD and Canberra Class LHD were two of the largest projects currently being completed by Defence at the time. These ships have highly complex requirements for shore-based infrastructure support, including maintenance and training facilities at various locations throughout Sydney. blueVisions’ programme experts were engaged to conduct a detailed review and analysis of the contractor’s construction programmes to ensure that it was accurate, complete and did not expose the Commonwealth to unnecessary risk.

Overview
As the role of the HMAS Waterhen base evolved, so did the requirements for specific facilities and infrastructure. The HMAS Waterhen redevelopment was scoped to provide purpose-built facilities for the new administrative and operational staff. blueVisions was engaged to develop the detailed business case, project plan for the refurbishment of the Mine Warfare and Clearance Diving Systems Program office on the base with the aim to ensure base operations were not impeded. blueVisions also undertook the design review and provided site inspections.

Overview
The project was an initiation by Government of Saudi Arabia to provide complete health and rehabilitation facilities to its security forces at one of the locations near Riyadh. Multinational consultants such as blueVisions were engaged to design and plan the facility and ABV Rock Group was appointed as Main Contractor for the project. Successful delivery of the integrated master program. Resource histograms and fully cost and resource loaded individual programs were to be managed and monitored by On-Site teams responsible for delivery.
