Caroline Paterson

Director of Strategy & Transformation

As a seasoned management professional, Caroline established strong delivery foundations in the highly disciplined Aerospace and Defence sectors. She successfully adapted those skills into the Transport and Finance industries successfully establishing high performing project management and PMO functions across Australia, New Zealand and in the UK. With over 15 years’ experience working across those industries, Caroline improved project management capabilities and practices, managed critical projects and led several major business transformation programs focused on digital transformation, technology, business performance and organisational design. Whilst her career to date has been focused on delivery, management of teams and driving change, Caroline’s career actually began in education and the arts. This foundation equipped her with the skills needed to adapt, to build capability, lead people and remain curious and open to exploring new ways of doing things. These skills have formed her approach to developing strategy in order to lead successful change. She has held executive level positions in Australia and abroad, working for global organisations delivering major programs often with emerging technology embedded in the solution. Whilst in the UK Caroline was the UK Head of Project Management and PMO where she established functional oversight across multiple portfolios delivering major programs including the 4 line Modernisation Program for London Underground, Traffic Management System for Network Rail as part of their Digitisation Strategy. Caroline has worked on large Defence programs such as the Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle under Land 116, the development of the prototype Hawke which is now in production in Australia and the Tiger ARH Helicopter simulator. With her experience across industry Caroline inherently understands what is necessary to deliver well. Her approach to delivery is people centric and to remain open and operate with integrity. She is committed to helping her clients achieve their strategic objectives and to transform not only the way people work but the culture that underpins lasting change.
