Development of Mix Use Commercial and Residential Complex

Overview

This project is a commercial development in Hurstville by Fridcorp who engaged Piety Construction Group as Main Contractor for complete construction management of this project. Project construction cost is around $190 Million.

blueVisions’ Role

blueVisions was engaged by Piety Contractor to assist with following services:

  • Provide a high-level stagging program at the beginning of the project
  • Provide with a baseline program to get the client’s approval as part of their contractual requirement
  • Provide a slightly fast-tracked and revised methodology construction program for funder’s approval
  • Provide program based cash flow forecast and analysis
  • Provide detailed construction program for on-site people to manage and report.

Project Scope

The project comprises of construction of the following at 93 Forest Road, Hurstville:

  • 4 Basement levels for Carparking
  • Ground floor podium for Woolworths and other commercial shops
  • 2 levels of podium for offices and commercial spaces
  • 2 Residential towers above common podium – 8 Levels Each
  • 2 Residential towers above common podium – 20 Levels Each

Challenges

  • Strict Timeline for completion
  • Contaminated Ground Conditions
  • Close to railway line making earthworks critical for shoring protection and continuous monitoring of soil conditions
  • Resource management for 4 towers

Outcomes

Successful delivery of all different programs and cashflows to the Client
