Project Management and Construction Supervision of the New Yogyakarta Airport

Overview

blueVisions as the Project Management and Supervision Consultant (PMSC) Services brings together a mix of international and local expertise to manage and administer the design and construction of the New Greenfield Yogyakarta International Airport (NYIA) in KulonProgo, Java, Indonesia.

Project Purpose

The airport development is being constructed in three modular stages based on the Master Plan with each Stage being developed to meet the increasing passenger and aircraft demands. Each following stage of the development is designed to fit into the already operating facilities with the minimum of cost and disruption to the airport’s operations.

Project Goals

The first stage of the Airport development to process 14 million passengers per year includes a 3400m x 60m wide runway, taxiways and aircraft apron with a 180,000m2 Passenger Terminal, multi-level Carpark, Air Traffic Control Tower, Crisis Centre and Administration Building.

PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) (AP1) chose the blueVisions Team from a comparative international tendering process based on our value for money specialist and comprehensive expertise, experience and capabilities of the Team in the aviation field.
The Team’s broad experience includes aviation planning, preparation of EPC & Design & Build technical and commercial consultant and construction documentation, tendering and evaluation, design management, commercial planning, airport operations, testing & commissioning, ORAT, HSE, quality control, project cost and time controls, contractual administration, construction management and supervision and project management and administration.
