Overview

The Optus Stadium is a multi-purpose 60,000 seat stadium accommodating AFL, cricket and entertainment events with drop-in seats adding flexibility to host rugby union and league and soccer. It is located in Perth, Western Australia, specifically in the suburb of Burswood.

blueVisions’ Role

blueVisions was part of the Project Planning and Controls team that assisted in developing and monitoring the complex interlinks programme including preparation of the Integrated Master Program for all works.

the blueVisions team liaised with all key stakeholders, such as:

• The Treasury WA
• The Public Transport Authority of WA
• Main Roads WA
• Department of Sport and Recreation
• Brookfield Multiplex and other consultants

Outcomes

By implementing a realistic Integrated Master Program, blueVisions was able to provide a resolution of issues that led to a positive outcome including Provision of risk assessment for procurement/construction activities such as identification of dependencies /critical path in the program and identify remedial strategies to mitigate risks.
